Description of 1993 Ford Mustang LX

1993 Ford Mustang LX HatchbackAutomatic - 4 cylinder - Dark & Light Grey Interior - Cloth Interior - Green exterior (reef blue?)Power Locks - Power WindowsTHE GOOD:- Clean title (no accidents. etc) and car fax. - Title in hand- Low miles for it being the year it is (under 100k)- Runs and drives (currently daily driver)- Inspection good til 12/15- New battery (and clamps). new alternator. new belts (both of them). good tires. new exhaust (parts of it). etc etc. - Interior has some flaws BUT its nothing major. - Body good condition. Only flaw is some weatherstripping/trim may need to be replaced and doors need new hinges (see below). - Bought a bunch of stuff from Late Model Restoration. They include locks for doors. trunk and glove compartment; also door hinges (don't close right. kinda have to lift it to close properly). door handles (color is faded so bought new ones). door aculator for passenger side (can't open it from outside). both pieces of weatherstripping for sunroof (dried and cracked). All items came to $165. Will try to get these items on before sold. if not it'll be given to buyer. THE FLAWS:- Needs transmission work or needs new one. The previous owner hid this piece of information from me (and didn't notice on test drive since I could only drive it around block). I been trying like hell to find a replacement or to even get the current one rebuilt but I can't find one (rebuilt or not) and can't find anyone that rebuilds automatics. (I am not from this state so I don't know whats around). **: I have not gotten it checked to be sure that it actually needs to be replaced (since I can't find anywhere to go to). I just tell people the symptoms and thats what is told to me. It could be that or it could be a part gone bad. I am getting it checked within next few days to verify if it needs a replacement or just some work. - Speakers do not work. Since its all of them I don't think its the speakers. maybe a fuse or something. The radio turns on and seems to be fine. Just nothing comes out. - Think the A/c needs to be recharged (have not used it since its winter so Idk). Heat works fine. Although the vents on dash do not work no air comes out of it. It does come out from vents right by windshield and down below by feet. Love this little car (even it being a 4 banger automatic lol) and don't mind giving it some TLC but sadly. with my "lovely" job. I can't afford replacing/rebuilding transmission. This is really the only reason why I have resorted to selling it (if I was told. I would of passed on it). I've already put $1. 00 into it (mostly labor). Have kept all paperwork for it. Would be a perfect project to gut out and turn into a 5. 0/stick (I'd love to do that. but can't). I have tons of pictures. Can send via email or phone (email for phone number). Please serious inquiries only. Would like to get this sold within the next week or two.
