For Auction is my 1989 Mustang GT. Everything that can be replaced has been. car was stripped bare and re-painted Blue Pearl. I bought this car 2 years ago with most of this work done mainly to race. when we got it we switched over to the TH400 for racing purposes. when we dynode the car we noticed the belt kept coming off the SC from being over tightened without a strut brace. We pulled the motor which only had 1400 miles at the time. we put in a new Callies crank. all new bearings while we had it apart. sent heads out for porting. and had everything balanced. We also bought the Kurgan strut brace for the SC which solved all problems. We also installed the Holley HP EFI system. new injectors. bigger fuel lines. and redid the engine bay. Car dyno'd 683 RWHP with the 6 speed. and 551 RWHP with automatic and unlocked converter. we didn't spend much time on tune since we were planning on switching to E85 (all changes already made for the switch). I own a shop and due to being so busy we only made it to the track twice. nbsp;car went 10. 80 @ 122 with a 1. 46 60'. It was running out of gear at the end so we switched in a set of 3:73 gears. The HP EFI set-up is new to us so we had minimal time to play with it. but we did log the runs and see where improvements can be made (mostly driver. ) Car is capable of low 10's as it sits and probably high 9's with E85 and a tune. Car is completely street legal with exception of slicks and the wiper system has been removed but I have it all. no overheating issues at all. Speedo Cluster was replaced at time of build and set to 0. it now reads 1887. I have only put about 600 miles on it in the 2 years I have owned it. I have well over $30. 00 into this car with nothing but the best parts. Reason for selling is I have ordered a new Corvette.
