For a convertible. this was top of the line in 1967. Raven black with parchment interior and a white power top. Very nice and desirable configuration. The car was highly optioned from the factory. Here is exactly how the Marti Report Reads: Miscellaneous Vehicle Data Body: 76B Convertible. Luxury Interior Color: A Raven Black Trim: 6U Parchment Crinkle Vinyl. CAR CONDITION The entire car was blasted down to the metal to expose and bad areas. The car spent its life on the West Coast and is a very solid car compared to the eastern Mustangs. The body is overall very nice and doesn’t need major rust repair. The car is overall very solid. Front to back description. Drivetrain The car comes with its original engine block and intake manifold each correctly dated for May 1966. I am still looking for the heads. I do have the correct 390 GT heads also. Hopefully I can find them in my mess of parts. The car also comes with the 3 speed that was in the car and a 9" rearend. Engine and transmission need rebuilt. Engine is apart. Solid Parts on Car The front radiator support and front frame rails are in excellent shape. The front torque boxes and floor supports are also in great shape. The firewall and upper cowl is in great shape. The shock towers are in great shape. The dash is in great shape. The sides of the firewall are in great shape. The rocker panels on both sides are in great dash. The hood. doors. and fenders are in excellent shape. Doors came off a donor car that I took some parts off from. The floor seat boxes and tunnel are in great shape. The toe pans in the floorboard are in great shape. The entire rear-end of the car is in great shape aside from the outer wheelhouses and quarters. The transition panel of the rear axle is in great shape. The outer wheelhouses are actually very nice but once the quarters are peeled off that might expose some rust. The rear frame rails and rear torque boxes are in great shape. Trunklid and inner wheelhouses are in great shape. Trunk lid hinge on RH side to inner wheelhouse needs tacked back in placed. Rust Repair: The following panels need to be replaced or repaired. Quarter panels both sides. Skins would take care of it no problem. Floor Pans Both Sides (Torque boxes and seat boxes are very nice) Battery TrayNew LH Front Apron needs to be welded in. Top of both rear aprons have those holes at the top common on these cars. Easy fix. Couple Tiny pin holes in trunk floor. Very small. Should not need replaced. just minor repairs. Bottom of cowl where they are prone to rust. Needs a tail light panel. This one is dented in. (I have on new in the box). Could be other small tiny pinholes but that’s about the extent of the panel work that needs done. CAR CONDITION Overall this car is very nice and comes with many parts. When I got the car it was stripped down. Previous owner told me he stripped the car down to turn it into a convertible drag car. Luckily he never cut on the car at all. He did sell all the parts though. But I found a local convertible that someone was parting out and bought all of the seats. glass. and other odds and ends parts. That’s why they are blue. I have picked up a few others things along the way for the car. The car does have the convertible top and many of the hard to find chrome convertible top trim pieces. You will also be getting many random parts for the car. Taillights. marker light houses. upper and lowers quarter vents. gauges. door glass. heater box. front and rear seats that need recovered. convertible visors. an assortment of trim. taillights. seatbelts and way more parts. This car is a project car that needs completely restored. The car does needs all the basic mustang sheet metal repairs but overall it is very solid and great clean slate to start from. You won’t have to worry about getting it blasted and worked with a dirty rust bucket because theta has already been done. Those are not the only areas that need repair. The driver side front apron was removed but I did cut the VIN out and I do have it along with the original door tag. This will be a very nice car when finished and will be well worth the restoration time and costs. I will ship this car anywhere in the world at the buyer’s expense. I will help arrange shipping. International buyers are more than welcome. $1000. 00 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of purchase. Balance can be paid within 7 days via wire transfer or cashier’s check. No PayPal for final balance payment. Car is sold as is where is with no warranty I encourage any interested parties to come and inspect the car as it is a project and needs fully restored. Does not run. Thanks for viewing and feel free to ask all the questions you like.
