Description of 1968 Ford F-100 Long-box

This is a mostly original standard F-100 with some key modifications to improve comfort and performance. There is minimal rust: some rust around the battery box. but that's it. The chassis features a twin I-beam front suspension. complete with radius arms bushings. The engine features the FE block. with higher-compression ratio. Horsepower. from the factory. was 215 horsepower; but is now higher. due to better exhaust flow due to Glass Pak mufflers. The engine is backed up by a dependable and durable C4 automatic transmission. All mechanicals are good and sound. save for the engine which has bad connecting rod bearings. The interior is a custom upholstered cabin with diamond tuck vinyl with cloth inserts and bucket seats. Relative to that are "shaved" door handles. actuated by push buttons; inoperable at this time for reasons unknown to seller. The original aluminum side trim goes with the sale. The paint is still glossy and in very good condition. A battery "trickle" charger goes with the sale. Please note. that the seller has lost the ignition key; however. that is easily replaced.
