Description of 1940 Ford Other Standard |
1940 Ford Standard. Has a 59 A-B Flathead V8 Engine Approx. 1948 that is machine shop rebuilt and runs great. 3 speed on the column, I have the original heads, intake manifold, distributor, 6 volt generator and many new and used parts. The frame is in excellent condition. Body has a new floor, trunk valance and rear quarter panels. It comes with three good running boards that need rubber covers. It has a new gas tank, complete new wiring harness and many new parts that are not installed yet. Every component of the braking system is new. I have everything that came off the car to complete it. It is missing one opera seat and original gauge cluster (came with old hot rod gauges). It also needs a new interior (I have the old), the correct steering wheel (has a hot rod steering wheel), new glass rubbers, and a grill. I have no registration but took pictures of the VIN Number on the frame when the body was off. I also have all receipts for the engine and body parts. We also think this car was a police car at some point. It came with a police siren, a faded police decal in the rear window, and a non-correct antennae for the car. |
