This car is part of an estate sale. With that said, this complete addis my best description of the car. If you have ANY questions I strongly urge you ask them before bidding. This car was my late Father's joy. He bought the car a number of years ago in Salinas Ca. and drove it home to Sacramento Ca. 185 miles at highway speed (6570) with absolutely no issues, I was with him. It is a 1980 Shay so it is a replica of a 1929 model A built on a pinto frame and running gear and is registered as a 1980 car and has passedCalifornia emissions every time it was due.I do know when he first got the car he changed all the fluids and had a new muffler installed. He spent a lot of time tinkering with projects like wire brushing and painting the wheels and numerous stuff underneath the car. The top appears to be in good conditionand does go up and down. It does have one small hole that does have a patch over it.It also has the side curtains. It does have seat belts in the front as well as in the rumble seat. The car runs and drives very well. The last time I drove the car it did shake/shimmy a little bit at lower speeds. I think thismay be caused by the age of the tires, which I believe to be original to the car from 1980.I certainly hope this car goes to someone who will enjoy it as much as him and all his grandchildren did. We do have what I consider a low reserve for this car. Its time for a new owner. Buyer responsible for vehicle pick-up or shipping. AS-IS WHERE IS SALE.
