Description of 1972 Ford Bronco |
Didn’t get what you wanted for Christmas? No problem; I am listing my 1972 Ford Bronco because I get to buy a minivan! Let me tell you about my darling bronco. She runs 70 MPH down the interstate with ease. It sat in storage for years until I finally shipped it down here and made it my daily driver. Low and behold, we have become soccer parents instead of cool parents, so she has to go! I bought it on EBay in 2010 with the following upgrades: Fiberglass tub, hood, and quarters Front disk brakes Tuffy Glove Box Overhauled 302 (I think the speedometer had around 30k on it) I then took it to a builder who made the following upgrades: Click HERE to see the build as it happened Fuel injection and new fuel tank Power steering Air Conditioning/Heat 5-Speed NV3500 Transmission (with twin stick Dana transfer case) Custom dash with Dakota Digital Gauge (750 miles on it since), toggle switches, stereo with cd, mp3, Bluetooth, and navigation Best Top black denim seats New Magnaflow exhaust Headers All new wiring/ignition/battery Rock Blocker bumpers 18” Rims and tires Since then, it has slowly received the following applications: Rearview mirror with back-up camera, compass, and temperature gauge Two pairs of JL speakers, Class D Rockford amp and sub Rampage Soft top James Duff Trail Doors A coat of ceramic sound-deadening spray on the floor and hood DynoMat and carpet on the floor A simple paint job Now before you get too excited, the girl does have its share of issues: Power steering is leaking (do not believe it to be the pump itself) I think she might need a new brake booster Small leak from the differential (I have not worried about it) The zipper on the rear soft window is broken Gas cap needs new gasket Doors are complete crap; I have turned them into half doors with the intention of buying soft uppers from Bronco Design (I usually just ride with the trail doors, but it has been my daily driver this winter). The passenger door lock is starting to stick as well Horn shorted out; have not gotten around to it The only VIN is located on the frame (I found this out when registering) Emergency Brake needs adjusted I hope she finds a wonderful home. She is not perfect, but we thoroughly enjoyed her. She starts and runs like special forces beauty queen. Comes with trail doors (and hinges), a trail cover, and some random new weather stripping. I am selling it “as is”, so I will do my best to respond to any questions you may have. |
