Description of 1988 Ford Ranger S Standard Cab Pickup 2-Door

Selling a decent 1988 Ford Ranger 4x4 with a V6 2.9l and a 5 speed manual transmission. I inherited this from my father-in-law who purchased a brand new F150. He owned this for about four years before giving it to me and put a lot of time and money into it. He had the brakes gone through as well as brand new Goodyear Wrangler AT's installed. He also had new exhaust installed out the passenger side with dual pipes after the cat. It sounds good. He also had the timing chain done as preventive maintenance.
The 4 wheel drive works fine and the clutch grabs good. All the electrical is working except the horn. The radio is stock and works but the speakers should be replaced. The rear main seal is leaking.
The body had some rot in the rear wheel openings like most so he bought patch panels and I welded them in. The bed is in epoxy prime ready for some minor blocking and sealer before paint. The doors and pass fender was also repaired. The rest needs to be finished before it's ready for paint.
The interior is really nice for its age. I have the rear tailgate panel and all the trim removed before we started the bodywork. I gave been driving it for a few weeks ago and it has developed a minor fuel issue which I'm looking into now. It will sputter at times while under a liad then be fine. I'm guessing it's a fuel pressure regulator or an o2 sensor. I need to go to autozone and see if it's throwing any codes.
All in all its a very nice truck that needs some minor TLC. The vehicle is being sold as is with no warranties. I have described it to the best of my knowledge. Please ask questions before bidding.
