Description of 1994 Ford F-250 |
For Sale my F250 - it is in excellent shape but needs a water pump and hoses. Fires right up with new radiator. tires. brakes and all the fluids changed or topped off. Last trip was to Colorado for Elk Hunting - now truck sits. Body is in excellent shape the interior is kind of dirty - original owner worked in the field and used the truck to live in. All the 213K miles are highway - he had a camper on it and lived in it for work in Nevada. Truck is in Mojave and I will work with owner for delivery. New owner is responsible for shipping costs but I will help with setting up delivery or pickup. Truck runs great but should not be driven on highway until the pump is fixed. This is a used truck with high-mileage - there is absolutely no guarantee on the engine. transmission or any part of the drive-train. electrical. exhaust or any other item on this truck. It is used truck and runs good and one should expect normal wear and use for a vehicle of this age. This is a used truck which has a lot of life left - it is not a rust bucket. Can post more photos or answer questions - good luck and very low minimum. I just want the truck to find a good home - I replaced it with a new vehicle. Happy Bidding in Best of LuckOn Jan-26-15 at 19:12:22 PST. seller added the following information:Update - had a mechanic friend look at the truck and he said he thought if the water pump is not bad then it would be a head gasket. The truck overheats on the highway and the first mechanic said it was a bad water pump and you needed to get the radiator hoses with metal springs in them. At high RPM the radiator overflow tank fills up and the engine will run out of radiator fluid. The engine is in excellent shape but overheats. A good mechanic will have this problem solved - I am not a mechanic. Just wanted to clarify this issue - had a few questions. If you buy this truck you may need to put in new head gaskets. It may be the water pump or ? But it has a new radiator. clutch fan. and heater core. |
