Description of 1963 Ford Other factory |
I will ship World Wide! Winning Bidder/Buyer responsible for all transportation fees regardless if you are local in the US/(Canada) or global. This 1963 Ford Country Sedan Wagon was featured in a tech article in Custom Rodder magazine in 2002. w w w customrodder dot com/tech/0207cr_blue_oval_bolt_on_binders/ Other than the Currie 9 inch rear end and front disc brakes that were set up in the article the car is completely original! Perfect for hauling your vintage race car! It runs and drives well but needs drag link and tie rods rebuilt. The entire fuel system has been completely redone including a serial number/date code carburetor correct for the car. * REAR GLASS * READ THIS PLEASE -- The rear glass dose work BUT-- continue reading please. Currently it dose not function when using the button on the dash or the key in the tailgate. (the switch on the dash is good though) This is mostly due the the Ford Safety Switch that is mounted on the left jam failing...becoming corroded over the years. However I have been able to get the glass to operator both up and down by hard wiring directly to the small motor inside the tailgate and running the leads to a battery. The motor works as well as the mechanism. BIG PLUS: Besides being in a magazine, I have two, both left and right side, extra ORIGINAL Ford rear quarter glass for the car! These are impossible to find! (see pic) PAYMENT - Please Read Carefully-- Deposit may be made through Paypal. HOWEVER Winning Bidder/Buyer will need to contact me (call me) to discuss how final payment will be made. Cashiers Checks or Cash. SHIPPING - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY -- The winning bidder/buyer will need to contact me to discuss how the vehicle will be picked up and paid for. And what person/company will be handling the transport. This is for my safety as well as yours due to the fact I will need to get the title to you. Also I am willing to work with the transporter to get the car to an area for easy pick up. NOTE ABOUT GLOBAL SHIPPING -- I would prefer to use Schumacher Cargo Logistics but if you have someone you like that's fine. SCL is excellent however and I have used them in the past. I will deliver the vehicle to the exporter for you buy there will be a small fee. Please call me to discuss it. If you are local or would be passing through my area you are welcome to pick up the car as long as it has been FULLY PAID FOR. Truly an amazing opportunity if you want a real classic mag car! Think about this. It is magazine documented. It isn't like you're going to find another one of these. Anywhere. I am happy to answer any and all questions. Phone calls are preferred 310-707-1388. It is a land line so no text. No Re-funds. No Re-turns. Thanks for checking out the auction! |
