Description of 1967 Ford Mustang COUPE

50 YEAR OLD ALL ORIGINAL CLASSIC MUSTANG (2 OWNERS) WITH 84K ORIGINAL MILES. ALL NUMBERS MATCH (289 ENGINE, 3 SPEED HEAVY DUTY MANUAL TRANSMISSION, AND REAR DIFFERENTIAL), OPTIONS INCLUDE CENTER CONSOLE (AN EXPENSIVE UPGRADE TODAY IF ADDED TO A NON CONSOLE VEHICLE). NO RUST HOLES IN FRAME OR FLOOR PANS. THE ORIGINAL SELLING DEALER OR OWNER INSTALLED ZIEBART RUST PROTECTION AND UNDERCOATING, WHICH ACTUALLY WORKED. THE VEHICLE IS WELL PRESERVED AND WAS GARAGED AND NOT TAKEN OUT IN BAD WEATHER FOR A MAJORITY OF ITS EXISTENCE.THIS VINTAGE BEAUTY RUNS GREAT AND HAS A LOT OF POTENTIAL FOR LOWER THAN NORMAL COST FOR RESTORATION FOCUSED ON COSMETIC DETAILS. LOTS OF NEW PARTS INCLUDED TO FINISH FRONT SUSPENSION UPGRADES AND A LOT OF THE MECHANICAL IMPROVEMENTS WERE DONE RECENTLY AND NOTED BELOW. I HAVE ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL, COPY OF ORIGINALLY ISSUED TITLE (THE 1ST OWNER I PURCHASED FROM) SHOWING ORIGINAL DATE OF SALE 03/07/1967 WITH 4 MILES ON CAR; I ALSO HAVE AND WILL INCLUDE SOME OF THE ORIGINAL OWNERS MAINTENANCE RECORDS AND REPAIR INVOICES. I am the second owner. I purchased the vehicle from an estate two years ago and the vehicle had been garaged and off the road for 15 years prior. The original owner was actually a little old lady, no joke. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to complete the restoration and give this classic the attention it needs for preservation and cosmetic restoration. When I purchased the vehicle I did quite a bit of essential restoration making it safe and reliable for a road trip from Maryland to Florida and back, and experienced no issues. The vehicle was used regularly for weekend pleasure and is in sound condition and can easily be a daily driver if needed.
Here is a list of the improvements I have done:Fuel System:Original Carb professionally rebuilt, added an electric choke, new fuel hoses, restored fuel tank, new PCV, new fuel &air filter
Electrical System & Lighting:New Battery and battery tray and ground wire, upgraded to high output alternator and replaced positive wire, replaced turn signal switch, upgraded headlamp capsules and added HID modern Halogen bulbs with proper relays and ground, replaced taillight lenses and installed LED sequential blinker turn signals.

Cooling System:radiator hoses & cap and flushed system, new thermostat and thermostat housing.
