1929 Ford Model A turbocharged custom rat rod roadsterThis car was a sports coupe that wasconverted in the 1950's into a Parade roadster. This car has more room than a regular roadster, the package tray has been removed giving more leg room for taller drivers.I am 6'4" 280lbs and fit in comfortably. No one will have another like this at your local cruise. The former rumble seat is removed. Trunk has metal floor and holds a new battery and 10 gallon spun aluminum gas tank and an original jack Drive train is out of a 1987 ford thunderbird turbocoupe, 2.3 stock intercooled turbo, a4ld auto rebuilt with overdrive, 1966 Ford Mustang rear differential 2:50 gearThis engine in a 2 ton car had a top speed of 143 mph, just think how fast it can go in a 1500lbs car. This car will go as fast as you can handle. The engine management is and SDS computer with interface and is adjustable/tuneable and can be power tuned. Currently running stock parametersMSD ignitionPorted and polished upper and lower intake.All new wiring.Adjustable boost pressure and blow off valve. Moon tach currently does not work. I do not know why. I reworked the airfilter look old using a 1950 ford air cleaner and a cone filter. Frame is boxed Model A, rear old school Z, reverse eye rear spring with leaves removed.1960's home made ladder bars.1950's Moredrop front axle with 1939 ford brakes. Split 1940 Ford wishbone with shocks and front spring relocated.Corvair polished aluminum reversed gearbox.Dual reservoir master cylinder under floor.Sounds like a tractor on steroids. Aluminum radiator and electric fan1930's moto vox horn-works Seat is adjustabl, good, and is out of a 1980's Chrysler town and country van covered in Mexican blanketLap seat belts Like new radial tires1950 Pontiac tail lights, original headlights with modern 12volt halogen bulbs Has soft top that needs reworked before using due to slanted windshield. This car was built approx 8 years ago and has less that 5000 miles on build. I took several 5 hour trips on the highway, no issues. Under seat in-floor heater 2speed fan blower. This car has been driven in 34 degree weather home from Hunnert Car Pile up a few years back.Runs,drives good, no funny Noises.Will leak a little oil and trans fluid after sitting for several days.
