1967 FORD Mustang Fastback Shelby GT500 Pro Touring

General Overview:

This Mustang started as a green "C" code 289 with a 3 speed manual transmission, black interior with the "Deluxe" package. (Brushed aluminum door inserts, dash inserts, and gauge bezel). A complete restoration was started in 2013 and completed in early 2017. The restoration included new complete quarter panels, new complete floors, new firewall, new engine compartment aprons (battery tray), new doors, original fenders, new Shelby GT 500 kit; fiberglass hood, deck lid, upper and lower scoops, complete fiberglass nose and tail light panel.

Frame/body was media blasted prior to any body work being started. There is absolutely ZERO rust in this car. The entire underneath of the Mustang, inside of the fenders and quarter panels, are coated in Lizard Skin to prevent ALL corrosion. The interior; floors, roof and inside of doors, are coated in two stage Lizard Skin (sound deadener/heat shield) and then sound deadener panels were also used on the floors, roof, doors, fenders and quarter panels.

This resto-mod is not a race car but with the MPT tune, the car dynoed at 430 rear wheel HP, about 491 HP at the motor and is an absolute blast to drive.
