This is a second owner vehicle that I purchased in 1972. The car had 75,000 miles when purchased. At 90,000 the engine threw a rod and it was replaced with a Ford, GPD long block. The car currently has 112,500 original miles and was last registered in 1979. The vehicle has been in storage since 1979. The car has been restored in the last year. The engine has been tuned and has a rebuilt Holly 4 bbl carburetor. The vehicle has a new white paint and numerous new emblems and trim pieces. The weatherstripping with the exception of the top has all been replaced. The interior was redone with new upholstery, door panels, kick panels, carpeting, and all new window and door handles inside and out. The rear springs have been re-arched and all new bushings and rear shock absorbers have been installed. The brake shoes, all springs, wheel cylinders and master cylinder have been rebuilt or replaced with new. The car has new brake hoses front and rear. The front sway bar bushings have been replaced and the car has rechromed bumpers. The dash panel has new chrome reveals and lenses and the gauge needles have been restored to the original color. The only damage was a dent in the left rear quarter panel that was repaired prior to my purchasing the car and a small dent in the valance in front of the hood that was repaired in 1974. This car has been in California since it was manufactured at the San Jose assembly plant in 1957. The body and undercarrage are solid and rust free. The top works flawlessly. This is not a show car but an excellent reliable driver that will turn heads wherever you take it. Many thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours of labor have been invested in this vehicle. 60 year old rust free cars are not easy to find. This vehicle has power steering, am radio, clock fresh air heater, tinted glass and map light. I can assist with taking to a local shipper or airport pickup. If you have questions or would like to view the car please feel free to call John at (909) 754-8728
