Beautiful 1998 Mustang LX 5.0 Fox Body Convertible with 24,750 documented miles. Rare 5 speed manual transmission. Original paint, original interior, original top, matching numbers, true extensively documented survivor car with no accidents in the most desired color combination!

Condition: Immaculate condition with no odors or mechanical issues. Always garaged, NO accidents, clean Carfax and AutoCheck, newer tires, ice cold A/C, 5 speed manual, 100% stock in truly remarkable condition. The paint is 95% original and shines beautifully. At one point, the original hood was repainted, but the match is perfect. This car has never been abused or raced, and has spent most of its life as a show car. It currently has approximately 24,700 documented miles. The original convertible top is functioning properly and is in as new condition. The interior is extremely clean and smells like leather. There are no foul odors and nobody has ever smoked in the car. The headliner and convertible ribs are perfect. As you can see in the pictures, the paint shines and still looks astonishing (garage kept car without question).This LX 5.0 is extremely immaculate with very minimal to no wear and tear (two stone chips on the front). Documentation: The car comes with a custom binder and car show plaque. Driving & General Impressions: The car runs and drives just as it should. The 5.0 fuel injected motor fires right up without hesitation. There is zero play in the stick shift, and the car stops and tracks straight as an arrow. The cruise control functions properly with no slippage or deviation from the set speed. The gears shift properly and the clutch is as new. As you can tell by the engine photo, everything is original save for the battery. Even the Motorcraft plug wires are correctly stamped “1988”. The AC is ice cold and all the vents function properly. The power top functions quickly and without any issues. The seats adjust properly and are in spectacular condition. The leather is soft and shows very little wear. The carpets are not faded and they look brand new. The factory mats have never been used and retain their original plastic covering. The emergency brake functions properly, all the gauges work as they should, and the car does not overheat (even in Texas on a 90 degree day with the AC cranked). The power mirrors function as they should, as do the power windows. The windows go up and down with no signs of hesitation. The factory parade cover and corresponding cover bag are in as new condition. The trunk carpet and liner is perfect, and the spare with jack has never been on the ground. All interior lights including dash lights function properly. The car steers tight and does not drift. The car stops straight and accelerates as it should (very strong!).
