Description of 1963 Ford Galaxie

Up for sale is an all original 1963 500 xl convertible 390 engine.Runs and drives great.Solid frame dirt on it only. Solid car, convertible top works perfect. I. Had this looked over mechanic calls it all original 390 with ford 9inch rear. Drives perfect. Three speed on the column . Very strong powerful strong running engine. Needs new top, needs paint, chrome around tail lights, patch on carpet under feet drivers side. Everything else solid. My mechanic says he would drive it across the country with no worries. Just had gone through it all oils changed new plugs, wires, battery, tuneup ect......This car was in a barn across the street and sitting since 2012 on cement floor. Always stored in garages.The reserve is at at a more than reasonable price so It can be sold. This Galaxy would make a great collector to add to your collection or drive.Happy bidding.

Someone just messaged me saying this is not an xl. I don't know if it is or not. This is the car as I got it with the exception of going through it mechanical to make sure it was in proper working order. So that being said here is the car xl or 500 or not. So if it is or not this is the car for sale. Just want to disclose the message I received.
