Description of 1965 Ford Mustang |
NO RESERVE AUCTION!! The winning bidder will own the car. 1965 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE 1 OWNER GARAGED SURVIVOR 73,845 Original Miles 289ci. V8 -- AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION -- POWER CONVERTIBLE TOP UPDATE: I was just told by someone that's Mustang savvy that the car has been repainted. To be completely upfront with all, I'm not very knowledgeable with older cars. This is a car that a friend called me about with a bit of a sad story, but it was a 1 owner, always garaged gem that I couldn't pass up. The lady I bought the car from was in her 80's and her husband had recently passed away. It was a car they bought new and had many memories in and when he left, the car needed to also. I have several miscellaneous pictures of door jams, control arms, leaf springs trunk sills, ect. that I can email to anyone interested. From what we know, it's original paint. There is very minor surface rust on some of the undercarriage parts, but not on the paint. Some of the engine parts have been replaced over the years, see picture. At some point in it's life some of the back seat vinyl had been replaced with a color that doesn't match. Also, there are small tears in the front seats. If you replace the vinyl on front & back seats, you'll have a perfect survivor driver. It starts right up every time and everything works as it should. There is very minor oxidation on the paint, but with a professional 3 stage buff or paint correction will be amazing. I have a clear Maryland title in hand. 330-634-5295 |
