Description of 1977 Ford Bronco wagon

Up for sale is an immaculate, all original, 84k mile, one owner family 1977 Ford Bronco. This bronco is truly a time capsule with its original metallic Jade paint, and white interior. This bronco was purchased from the original owner's daughter and husband. I have all the paperwork from Ford and the dealership from when it was purchased new.

The exterior is the factory metallic green jade paint that is in great condition for a 40 year old vehicle. It has been buffed and waxed to a brilliant shine. The body is super straight and all the body lines match up great, but there are a few places where the paint has rubbed though to the primer coat, primarily on the rear driver's corner and on the top of the front passenger fender. The rear fender flares have been painted to match the paint, and the factory wheels have been sanded and painted the correct argent silver. Brand new, period correct L-78-15 mud tires have been added.

The interior is virtually the same as the day it left the dealer lot. The original owner added a CB radio, and tape deck radio both of which still work. The seats are in incredible condition, with only a small tear in the driver's seat. The factory floor mat is in great shape as is all the glass including the windshield. The doors have never been adjusted; they still have the factory paint on the bolts! All the gauges work, as does the horn, blinkers, and even the dome light!

Mechanically this is the smoothest running bronco I have ever driven. When I purchased the bronco last month it still had the factory spark plugs and wires. I replaced the wires and spark plugs for a tune up but will include the factory wires that are stamped with 1977 on them. I also replaced the stock distributor cap and rotor, which I will also include the originals. The carburetor was also rebuilt to complete the tune up. This bronco starts up great, idles great and runs great! The 3 speed on the column shifts great, as does the clutch. The emergency brake works as well. This bronco is equipped with front disc brakes which work great. The original owner installed an 8000k Warn winch shortly after it was bought, I have the receipt, and the winch also works flawlessly. The Dana 20 transfer case works great and the 4wd works great.

Full disclosure items:

I have bought, sold, and restored many broncos in the past and want to make sure the future owner of this fantastic bronco knows all that I know about it.

The auxillary fuel tank has a slow leak from the sending unit, not the actual tank. I have not filled the tank to verify the leak.

As stated above, the original paint is not perfect. There are a few thin spots where the paint has worn down to the primer.

There are no leaks that I have observed.

I would say that this bronco is 99.9% rust free. There is a small 4 inch x 1/8 inch spot on the drivers side floor pan that has rusted though. This is the only rust that I have found.

The original owner occasionally used it to hunt with and he painted the top and grill with a dark green paint so that it would blend in better with the woods. I have carefully removed the rattle can green paint to show the factory Wimbledon white paint underneath. There may be a few spots of green that I missed along the way.

All of the smog and emission pieces to the engine are still there, however there is a crossover tube that connects to the passenger side valve cover that has broken off. I do have the tube and will include it with the bronco.

I have a clean and clear Arkansas title in hand and it is ready to be transferred to the new owner. The title is still in the original owner's daughters name and will be released when the bronco is fully paid for.
