Up for auction is an all original 1989 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 5spd hatchback. With only 67,245 original miles. There are no mechanical or electrical issues that I am aware of except the low level coolant sensor does not work. Even the rare map interior light and light and original cassette player all work perfectly. Cruise control, original spare tire, lug wrench and jack and locking log nut adapter with original tag and owners manual. Copper Cobra radial tires have about 10k miles on them so plenty of tread left and have an extra full spare with original matching rim. Lots of extra comes with this mustang. 3 covers of which the main cover is a cover craft all weather cover with elastic and tie downs. Great cover. Since this 89 is probably the only 89 ordered without power window or a/c as it was a northwest car (where spent most of its life in storage) I have collect just about all the a/c components you would need except for the accumulator, compressor, evaporator and condensor but I have all the bracket, bolts, under dash unit, control panel etc that you will need to complete the job if you so chose to do. Car has always been garage kept and oil changed every 15k as it was just changed at 67K so will not need filter or oil changed until 82K miles. Have the original vinyl roller cover for the hatchback. Seats fold down perfectly and the spare tire and truck area are in great condition. For almost 30 years old the car is in incredible shape. Everyone comments on it and I really have not seen any in this great a condition on the road. The issues are seen in the pics in that there is some fading on the wiper arms (not shown) and side view mirrors (I have just purchased the correct exterior spray paint from Amazon that can easily correct this issue. The other issue is the fading on the rear bumper. Hey for 30 yrs old it is unfortunately gonna happen. Would be easy to correct either buy yourself or take it to a body shop. Please ask questions as I would be happy to answer. I have had the car since 2011 and it brought back a ton of memories. Its a great car in great condition and is dying for a turbo charger but I just could not modify it from its original condition cause it was in to good a shape.
