1957 Ford Thunderbird, estate car with 312 V-8 and 3 speed manual transmission. This car had the same owner 41 years. According to what I was told he took the car off the road in 2000 to rebuild the engine. He put the engine back in, but was in the process of finishing when he became ill. At the time he rebuilt the engine he also installed power steering and brakes. The car needs some finishing, but I feel you could have this car on the road in short order. The car needs belts, brake booster, and probably points, wires, cap, and rotor. I did hot wire the car, shot some starting fluid in and got it to pop off. The keys were lost, but a new ignition cylinder and a complete new trunk lock goes with the car. Under the car I can see a patch by the passenger floor, but the floor brace is intact. This car is not a rust bucket. The paint is not that good, the interior is nice including the head liner. The car also has a town and country radio and after market A/C, but the condenser is missing. This car only has the porthole top. Might take 2002 to 2005 T-bird as part trade. Sold where is as is. Make your inspections and ask your questions before you bid. Payment in full is due within seven days of auction end by bank transfer. Shipping is buyer's responsibility, but I will help arrange. E-mail or call 630-542-0031 with any questions. Thanks for looking!
