1968 Ford Ranchero 500

1968 Ford Ranchero 500 – Red w/Black Interior and black bedliner. Per Marti Report, Ranchero was built on May 8, 1968 and shipped to Los Angeles, CA. where it remained until 2006. Purchased and taken to Carson City, NV until I bought it in 2008. I’ve had it here in North Texas since then, keeping it under a carport or inside storage as we worked to bring it back to present condition. Ranchero has no rust, new upholstery, straight body, recent mid level paint job in 2016, new tires, rebuilt front end, power steering/brakes, new dual exhaust, nice dash – no splits, with working lights and signals. 390 motor w/C-6, runs great. Car came with 390/2V originally, but along the way has been upgraded to 4bbl intake and carb. C-6 was rebuilt about 1000 miles back and works great. A/C blows cold, but original AM radio doesn’t work. May be result of antenna missing, which I have the replacement in the car and will try to get around to installing before anyone picks it up. All glass is good, window trim is good and most of the rest of the trim is good w/ a couple spots that could use some spit polish, but still look good. Column shifter was replaced w/aftermarket floor shifter sometime in the past. Parts are available to change back, but I’ve kind of gotten used to it and just left it there.
