Description of 1973 Ford F-250 Styleside

Good classic pickup! Strong running engine and low original miles!
Has the 6.4 390 CiD V8 for towing small moons, 4-speed manual gearbox! I've replaced plugs, wires, valve cover gasket, oil pressure sensor, blinker switch, headlight switch radio speaker and front blinkers. Also replaced the original steering linkage which was shot. Cosmetically, the seat has been re-upholstered, replaced the steering wheel, all the mirrors and windshield. Changed the oil this spring and checked the transmission fluid. Overall, very good running truck, drives well too.
Cosmetically, it's perhaps as you'd expect from a 44 year old truck, but not without its charms. Take the custom tailgate retention mechanism... Values on these seem to vary between $5,400 and 14,000!
On the issues side, it does seem to have a small leak from the oil pan, I thought valve cover and oil pressure sensor, but it does still appear to be leaking slightly. Otherwise, starts well (after you remember it's carbureted, not EFI...) and runs strong! Throwout bearing is under-lubricated (a little noisy) from sitting for a couple years before I bought it. Clutch has around 50% life left.

Winner is responsible for all shipping and pickup. It gets about 5 MPG - unless you own ConocoPhillips, I wouldn't recommend a cross-country trip. If your not local - ship!
