up for auction is this 1929 Ford Model AA California orchard truck...never titled (and still not) in California because it was a farm truck....bed widend and lengthened to hold more fruit that was loaded from both sides by worker walking beside it....they liked the RPU with no top, and the doors, stanchions and windshield were removed to keep from hitting fruit trees....I do have all those pieces....it has 4 new tires, new 8 volt battery, geneator, Zenith carb, new distribuator, new steering wheel, new seats, new front glass and frame, new water pump,new coil, new tail lite and stop lite switch, oil pump, and Many more parts to mention.......I have a folder full of invoices for this truck....there is no rust in the cowl or any of the typical places on 29'...the is some rust on the panel under the seat that is a $60 piece out of any of parts catalog....there is no title but vin # on the motor is *AA236568......it has a good horn ...rear view mirror...it has a pare of doors, one is rough....I've had a lot of Model A, but this one gets a lot of attention at the shows, parades, and crews nights.....it has a neat spare tire bracket under the frame...the bed was shop built with a brass tag to prove it....the truck run good and starts as soon as you push the choke in....I luv this truck but due to some health issues must sell, also have another RPU w/ nice TT express bed and long splash aprons and rear fenders, a 1931 chassis w/Model B motor and a restored 1929 Roadster hopped up 4banger w/KRW wheel, chopped windshield, banjo wheel, and honey comb radiator, mileage unknown.....lots of parts...if you have questions call me @ 918.430.8845 |
