NOW AVAILABLE... This beautiful 1965 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE. Dressed in her factory original and very desirable SILVER BLUE exterior paint offset with the WHITE VINYL CONVERTIBLE TOP. This beauty is an original Ford factory "C" Code which is the 289 cubic inch V-8 Engine. This power plant mounted to her original 3-speed manual transmission and a 2.80:1 rear end gear ratio which makes for ideal cruising. During restoration a new 2" aluminized dual exhaust system was installed which makes for a great sound. Take a look inside and see the gorgeous blue and white Pony interior seats. This sweet rag top is riding on the ’65 classic Styled Steel Wheels and new radial white wall tires. The engine dry compression readings are from 145 to 150 so plenty of power. Absolutely no fluid leaks. New belts and hoses along with new radiator was installed during restoration. The engine bay has been detailed and painted with period correct colors for ’65 289. The undercarriage was cleaned and detailed as noted in the pictures. The body panels on the car where removed and the entire car was taken down to bare metal and then meticulously finished in the Silver Blue (original Y code) base coat / clear coat and it looks awesome. All new chrome emblems; bumpers; weather stripping; gas cap; etc. on the exterior have been installed. Extreme care was taken to install a new convertible top, pads, rear window, etc. This cool little Pony has been in my family for over 15 years. Enjoyed for many years in parades, car shows and mostly cruising the highways and byways. Now, extreme care and attention to detail has been taken in this fresh restoration just completed in July 2017. You really must see to appreciate – as she is “easy on the eyes” with great appeal. Yes, she maybe 52 Years Old but she looks better than most of the new cars on the dealership lots.
So, if you have been looking for a classic Mustang convertible to get in and enjoy...look no further. She's got the look, the sound, the appeal and only needs her next caretaker. Don't mess this opportunity to own a 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible.
