1930 Ford Model A Woodie Special Delivery. Restored. GORGEOUS! 1930 Ford Model A Woodie Special Delivery. Restored. GORGEOUS! Click images to enlarge Description 1930 Ford Model A Special DeliveryListed on behalf of Kessid Church Located near PORTLAND, OREGON. This rare, 1930 Ford Model A "Special Delivery" Woodie Wagon received a full frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration in 2010. From the styling and trim, this body appears to have been originally constructed by Baker-Raulang, who supplied woodie delivery bodies to Ford. During the restoration, the body was rebuilt and wood replaced where needed. The door latches and hardware are original. The finish of the wood is excellent. Beautiful Manila Brown and black paint. Please see photos. New top. Roll-up windows in the front doors for pleasant touring in all weather. The rear side windows are plexiglass and were lettered for advertising a business. The plexiglass may be easily removed or re-lettered and would make a great promotional vehicle. New upholstery. This body has a front seat only - with LOTS of cargo room in the back. (Baker-Raulang also made a version of this body as a "Traveler's Unit," the first Ford production camper. This wagon could be easily converted to a period camper/RV. See Loren Sorenson's book, "Famous Ford Woodies" pages 36-37 for photos and details.) Mechanically, this A is an "A". Rebuilt original 4 cylinder engine and drivetrain. Runs and drives great. Stops smooth and straight. Dual rear tail lights. Turn signals added through the cowl lights. Excellent whitewall tires. All receipts from the restoration are included. Hundreds of hours were spent bringing this "A" back to showroom condition. Limited use since restoration. Ready to drive anywhere. It draws attention wherever it goes. If you are looking for a uniquely-styled, authentic Model A Woodie for show or go, this is a great one. A realistic reserve has been placed on this car in keeping with its rarity and quality. Please bid accordingly. We are listing this on behalf of the Kessid Church in Vancouver, Washington USA. (www.Kessid.com). It was donated to the church by a member of their congregation. Net proceeds from the sale of this car will go toward the church building fund. (A portion of the winning bid amount above fair market value may be tax deductible. Please check with your accountant or tax professional.) WE WILL HAPPILY SELL TO BUYERS WORLDWIDE. Thanks for looking and GOOD LUCK! Payment We gladly sell to buyers WORLDWIDE.
