| This is the original body from Bill Shifsky's Cox Toy Company sponsored 1971 Ford Pinto funny car. The chassis was built in the mid 70's and set up for a Chevrolet. The engine is a 1971 427ci open chamber L88 with 12.5 compression, Hilborn injection on alcohol, Isky roller rockers, a Jomar stud girdle, a Chevrolet powerglide transmission with transbrake and a 5000 stall convertor. Starts and runs great! The current engine recorded a 9.17et / 141mph quarter mile. |
