A small black pin stripe really helps to break up the solid look of the orange paint job. A 2 barrel carburetor on top of a 7. 0 Liter/ 429 V8 Engine sound really good going down the street. Just replaced the spark plugs. spark plug wires. points. and oil change. Part of the great sounds out of this car. is due to the dual exhaust system under the car that is still in great shape for being over 40 years old. After some cleaning and driving around town. found that the transmission is still as smooth as the first day it drove off the Ford lot. Power is pushed to a set of 15 inch aluminum rims rapped in P275/60R15 in the rear and P255/60R15 in the front. There is about 50% tire life left on the tires. There is an average amount of wear on the interior. but like I said its over 40 years old. Overall. this Thunderbird is a great car for someone looking for an early 70's era Ford car.
