I'm selling a 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 XL. This is a "Z" code car. As you can see in the photos it is in good shape. Engine has been rebuilt by a reputable engine builder with zero miles. It is included in the sale but is not in the car. IT IS IMPORTANT TO USE BREAK-IN OIL AND A ZINC ADDITIVE TO THIS ENGINE BECAUSE OF FLAT TAPPET CAM. Transmission, also not in the car is a four speed and works and is still original from factory never being apart as well as the third member, to the knowledge of the owner. Everything is included to make this car run again such as original bellhousing, starter, generator, waterpump, fanblade, all pulley's and coolant tank. All brakes have been redone with new shoes, parts and lines. Also a new dual master cylinder is in place. Most of the numbers found are matching numbers to this car. Body has been redone and painted five years ago. It has a new white vinyl top appropriate to the year. Interior was replaced several years ago and is good (not perfect) with the seats having no tears, rips or wear spots. Dash has no cracks, rips or tears, but one corner on passenger side is lifting. Steering wheel has some cracks in it. Console chrome has some pitting. Shifter reverse lockout doesn't work. All glass good, side windows all work. Trunk floor good but needs restored with paint and new mat. Bumpers both front and rear are good but not perfect. Each will have a small blemish. Frame has been patched in three places. One small spot on each of the lower dog legs on the inside and one in the very rear portion on passenger side. Last photo shows this area. Inner rocker panels need some patch work done. Mag wheels showing on car is NOT included in the sale. The second to the last photo is representative of the steel wheels that are on it now. Any questions, please ask.
