Description of 1969 Ford Mustang Mach1 |
1969 MUSTANG Restoration took 4 years. We started by stripping it down to bare bones and starting rebuilding from there. There was no motor in the car when I bought it, so decided to rebuild a 351 Cleveland for the project. Had the motor completely stripped down and rebuilt and is now putting out about 490 HP. New C-6 tranny with torque converter designed to match engine works very well. Replaced the radiator with a new 4-core rad and found an original FORD Shaker Scoop which really compliments the look of the car. We stripped the interior out and replaced the low back bucket seats with high back buckets. Reupholstered the front and back seats and replaced all the carpet. Decided to paint it with a Pearl Yellow which is absolutely beautiful in the sunlight. Car has Magnum 500 wheels, 2 of which came with the car. Since restoring the car we have moved to the country and I refuse to drive it on gravel roads. This is my only reason for selling it. Car has less than 1000 miles put on it since the rebuild. For more info., feel free to contact me.
