Desert Survivor being sold by a very legit Ebay seller
If you have any concerns about our vehicle, please ask or dont
bid on it. Dont wait till after you win and then make up stuff on
wondering if we are real or not.
FEEDBACK !!! if you cant take 10 min to read thru our feedback
on the cars we have sold here over the last 10 yrs, then you also
shouldnt be bidding on our auctions. Ebay offers our Feedback rating
for a reason,... try trusting it.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
I call it a survivor because its not been repainted or heavily modded
its entire life that we can tell. Pretty sure its original paint outside.
Interior is pretty OE too. Has some cool options like dual tanks, PS
PB, AC too (but most is missing under the hood and dash) The Super
Cab option / Shortbed is very sought after and rather rare. Add the
manual tranmission and 2wd, and you have the makings for an awesome
street truck. Keep the patina and no rot body, and youll be the hit of
the next car show. We got it w/o the front grill, so the current
front grill in the truck is new repop argent color. Runs and drives great
for an old Ford. Once in a while the starter just spins, but after a few
tries, it kicks out and catches fine and starts the engine fine.
Idles well and runs with the best of them !
Only rust or rot I could find came from the inside cab area near the
floors and side kick panel areas and a little on the floors, mostly mild.
Cab corners and rockers are in great shape.
You can see some of this evidence in the last set of pics taken from
UNDER the truck on the floors.
Its been mostly we gather an original Az

We think it is possibly an EX Forest Ranger vehicle
and those where well kept being Govt
vehicles.

DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND
apparently some people
who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules.
So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!!

DRIVETRAIN: factory V8, the original 351M was removed
about 10 yrs ago and replaced with an earlier model FE bigblock
Ford motor. The motor is suppose to have about 50k miles
on it now. Headers where installed at the time the motor was.
To help with the gear changing, it has a 4 spd stick
with granny gear, could be the original trans. Outback factory 9"
not sure of the ratio, but the door tag pic should be able to be
decoded to find out.
Some cool new 15x8 Wheel Vintique steelies (not painted yet)
BRAKES work fine as they are, but the LR wheel cylinder was
leaking, for for a temp fix the previous owner disconnected the
brake line TO the rear brakes at the master cylinder for now.
We've been driving it around town as is and you cant even notice
that the rear brakes are not connected. Front brakes work great
and stop the truck fine. The new owner can look at replacing the
LR wheel cylinder in the near future.

INTERIOR: take a look at the pics. Very original and yes a bit dry, but
a little dirty for its age. The front seat is original and worn
Door panels are missing.... Dash etc looks ok for its age.
Keep in mind, this trucks not been restored ! Presentable for a daily
or car show survivor car. Its rough around the edges, could use some
restoration on the dash, radio area etc. No radio and the dash bezal
was removed to take the radio out a few weeks ago. Its loosly set
in there for now. All the gauges seem to work correctly too.
Dual Tank set up works fine. Best part is, all the parts you need to restore
this interior are readily available online !!!

EXTERIOR:the body pretty straight for its age, but this is a 90%
rust FREE AZ desert survivor. Windows roll up and down, but
regulators are worn. The doors work fine.
Rust or rot I should say is almost non existent on the body.
Much nicer by comparison to a truck this old from the eastcoast.
Looks like original paint with nice AZ patina too. No evidence of previous
rot or accident repairs and bondo.

SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal from what I can see .. but old.
We didnt hear any weird noises or clunks while driving it around. It Im sure
will need some work soon like bushings etc, but as is its driving around ok.
The F150 Suspension was built to last, ...and it shows :)
Minimal rust under the car, making taking this car apart, almost a breeze !!

There you go, probably The BEST represented TRUCKS on Ebay.

Shows you all the good as well as any bad.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks on end.
Having as much as the original steel on a non restored car these
speaks volumes. Survivors are getting harder to find !
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.

Email us with ANY questions before you bid please
Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car they
are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy long distance.
With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER
with great pics to help making your decision easier.
Along with ANY other questions you may have.
Email me for a quote for shipping.
