1968 Mustang Coupe Project Car. Original 302 4V "J-Code" with complete numbers-matching drivetrain. Original options documented with Deluxe Marti Report. Car retains its original window VIN Tag, Door Warranty Tag and Ford VIN stamping in front driver's side inner fender. A true J-Code 4V 302 car, this project offers a very solid starting point for a restoration. The floors, rails and torques all appear original and very solid and rust free. The previous owner began the restoration and started to replace the front passenger side fender apron. All other aprons and front metal are rust-free. According to previous owner the car was backed into while parked in the passenger side rear quarter and that was repaired early on in the cars life, picture shows small area that will need minor body work when restored. The passenger side wheelhouse, frame rail and torque are all solid and straight. The drivetrain appears to be completely numbers matching, VIN stamping is present on the engine block, C4 Tranny has the correct "A" Servo. The Rear end housing still wears its original assembly tag. The engine spins and the car rolls freely but all mechanicals should be rebuilt or serviced before use. Motor is very complete and appears to have had some new parts installed by the previous owner. Factory power steering equipment is still intact. The interior is fairly complete with original seats and upholstery and most of the dash parts. The car does roll but does not move under its own power. Clear Missouri Title. Payment: A deposit of $1000 (non-refundable) must be paid within 48 hours of winning bid. The remaining balance must be paid within 3 business days.
