Description of 1991 Ford E-Series Van |
I'd like to start by thanking you for taking the time to review my van! There is a full length description on this van on YouTube. All the information and much more is covered in that video. YouTube Video:https://youtu.be/zJSSB64RbUc You're looking at Daisy, (you can change her name) a 1991 Ford E-250 Econoline Camper van. Cobra is the company that made the additions so it is all professional. I purchased Daisy from her first and only owner out of San Antonio, TX and drove her back to Charleston, SC where I have been living in her full time. She was purchased because I ran into financial trouble and couldn't afford rent. The reason for selling her after such a short time is due to the fact that I have been offered a great deal for a room to rent and can't pass it up. Charleston is HOT!She only has 83,543 miles on her and runs like it. There is zero indication that either the engine or trans are close to going. She is VERY SLOW, especially up hills but shifts very clean. As best I can calculate, the gas mileage averages around 12mpg. There are power windows and locks as well as cruise control (working) The exterior is still in fantastic shape with the exception of one dent in the rear near the passenger side tail box. This is a heavy van and made with real steal. The interior is also in great shape for her age. Only a couple fabric cuts in the rear of the driver's seat are visible from pulling down the bed rack. Hardwood floors have been installed all the the back of the van. The original roof A/C unit has been replaced with a skylight/vent and an aftermarket A/C unit is installed at the rear. There are a few things that don't currently work and can be repaired very easily. They are listed below. 1. Propane line: The burners work, a rock popped up and cut the propane line under the vehicle.2. Passenger Window: It hasn't worked since I got it. When you depress the power lock button it just falls to the bottom I absolutely love this van and am more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Good luck! |
