Description of 1989 Ford Mustang LX

1989 FORD 5.0 Fox Body MUSTANG

**Original**

This car is Unmolested, Unmodified, Unaltered. All original engine. It is an ORIGINAL Southern, Rust Free car. Mechanically Sound, trusted as a daily driver. Even the AC works!

Only modifications are: Flow Master Exhaust, JVC CD/Stereo, and 16" Pony Wheels.

Features:

  • 5-Speed Manual Transmission (all gears work great).
  • 2.73 gear ratio.
  • Runs Great. Everything works...Even the A/C!
  • Well maintained: oil changes every 3K miles, as well as regular tune ups, antifreeze, transmission fluid changes, etc.
  • Maintenance has also included: new shock-struts, rotors, brakes, clutch pressure plate, pilot bearing, u-joints, clutch cable, etc. (All within the last 30K miles andAll records provided.)
  • Headlights & Taillights are in excellent condition
  • Glass is very good except one small rock chip at bottom center of windshield.
  • Tires are OK.
  • Clear Coat paint is peeling off on hood, roof, and hatch; however there is NO rust anywhere on this vehicle. Just the clear is coming off.
  • Dash is in excellent condition, no cracks.
  • Carpet is OK, small hole in front of driver (floorboard just in front of seat). Otherwise OK.
  • Interior is OK, small rip in seam at side of driver's seat (seat back side). Otherwise OK for their age.
  • Carpet in hatch is good, couple of small holes.
  • Auction includes original FORD Factory Shop Manual and Original Owners Manual/Book
  • NO bondo in Body. No frame damage. Only a few minor dings (see pics).
  • Car is registered and driven; garage kept and has a clear title.
  • Car lives in a NON-Smoking home.

Car is ready for you to restore it or just drive it! I was going to repaint it, but life got in the way so now the car has to GO. A rare-find original, unaltered fox body Mustang.
