This project started out with a very solid 1967 Fairlane XL that was originally red with black vinyl top and black bucket seat interior and with a 390 2 barrel and C6 auto trans. The car was stripped and painted another correct 67color, Wimbledon White. You will not find a trace of red anywhere. The body is laser straight and there are no signs of any type of major damage to the car. All exterior trim, and there's a lot on this car, is in excellent condition. The floors and quarters are rock solid. No rust anyplace. The car rides and drives excellent. The interior looks as new and and has always been well kept. The engine and trans are out of an early 1965 Galaxie, pre-sider oiler. As with all 'R' codes, it has no power steering but is very easy to drive. Does have power brakes. Engine runs very strong and the trans and clutch are smooth. The 9" rear has a 3.50 limited slip gears that are great for performance and the road.I have owned this car for over ten years and enjoyed cruising to car shows and special events. lt is always a head turner and even more so with the hood open.call Mike with any questions you might have at 501-318-3444.
