Description of 1936 Ford Other Pickups

I have been buying on selling on here for about 15 years, but I guess it's been over a year since I bought or sold anything. So I guess my 209 transaction 100% positive feedback went back to 0. However, if you click on my feedback, you can still see all of it, and that it's all positive.
Anyway, I'm selling my 1936 Ford Pickup restoration project. I've had it, and have been gathering parts together for it for many years. My plan was just to restore it as a nice driver with an original drivetrain and hydraulic brakes. The pickup is stored at my parents house in Kansas City. We moved to Dallas and don't have a place for it here unfortunately, so we have decided to sell it.
I bought the pickup cab, hood, grill, seat, and original headlights and stands, from a nice original 1 1/2 ton truck that was being parted out. I bought it because it was the nicest original cab and sheet metal that I had ever seen for a 36 pickup, and it still even had the old original interior in it. Parts of it are really like a nice barn find, or a time capsule. It still has most of the original black paint on it, and it even has some of the original green pinstripe on it in places. The doors open and close nicely. I believe the driver's window is cracked, but both roll up and down nicely. The original seat has very nice springs to recover, or if you didn't mind it being old and dirty you could probably use it like it is. It has the original speedometer and dual gauges, glove box, door panels, and even the original sagging headliner. It comes with the original windshield frame, header panel, wiper motor covers, steel upper dash cover, and all of the garnish moldings, all of which are in their original shiny black paint and old patina. The grill has the original stainless steel trim ring, even the chrome V8 emblem is an unbroken original, and those are always broken.
Included is new glass and rubber parts for the windshield and back window. It had all of the original glass in it when I bought it and was all together, but the windshield and back window were really foggy and I was in the process of replacing it. I buffed the paint a few years ago and touched up the outside in a few places. It needs to be touched up more, it has dents and some bare metal spots. I like the old patina of it, and really debated over whether or not I would ever even paint and restore the whole thing. It does have dents and scratches from being a well used old truck. It's far from mint and definitely not perfect, but it's a pretty nice start for being over 80 years old.
It has an unrestored '39 frame and axles. I was told that '39 chassis is basically the same, but better and easier for hydraulic brakes, so that's what I put under it. The chassis is in fair condition. The frame has some rust in places and needs some work, but I was planning on using it. It has an original, early not running '35- '36 engine, and a '36 transmission. The motor is not the late '36 LB, but it came out a good car that was street rodded and I believe that it would be a good core to rebuild. I have a clear Texas 1936 Ford 1/2 Ton Pickup title in my name that matches the original '36 serial number on the transmission. Originally the pickup would've had matching serial numbers on the frame and transmission both, but since it has a replacement '39 frame, my Title matches the transmission number only. Someone may want to use a different new hot rod chassis anyway. I can give you a Bill of Sale with it in addition to the Title, but I just want to make it clear that the 36 Title I have matches the serial number on the 36 transmission only.
Another highlight is that it comes with an original 1936 Pickup only, new old stock NOS Ford OEM Radiator. It is dented on top and needs repaired, it has a split in one of the lower radiator hose outlets, and some other shelf wear. But, it's the only one I have ever seen, and I think it's probably the last one on the planet that has not already been installed in a pickup. It has a rough, but repairable '37 Pickup bed (slightly longer than 36), a complete set of fiberglass fenders that have never been installed, and a junky but rare pair of original steel 36 pickup rear fenders. It has an original spare tire bracket and cover, and original steel inner fenders that are not rusty but have had holes cut out with a torch in several places. It also has a pair of new reproduction steel rectangular filler panels in gray primer.
The cab still has a nice, useable big truck fuel tank under the seat. But if you want to move it back to the back of the frame like a pickup originally would have been, it does come with an original pickup seat riser. The motor, transmission, cab and bed are securely bolted to the chassis for transport. An old radiator is bolted on it, but when putting it together we found that it is actually a '35 Pickup radiator. It's a little different than the NOS '36 radiator, so the grill doesn't currently fit right, and the hood is just sitting on it for the pictures. You can't put on the front hood bracket, so the hood definitely needs to be taken off to transport it.
Payment is by cash or bank wire transfer. No checks, and Paypal is accepted for the $500 non-rufundable deposit only. I will take cash at time of pick-up, or a bank wire transfer that has to clear completely in advance of picking it up. A $500 non-refundable payment with PayPal must be made within 24 hours of the auction ending, but I do not want to accept PayPal for the whole amount because I do not want to pay the fees. Full balance of payment needs to be made within 7 days.
No trades. I don't have shipping, but if you want pay in advance and arrange shipping, my dad will be there to help get it loaded. It is located in the north part of Kansas City, Missouri. Email if you have questions, or would like to look at it in person. Thanks.
