Description of 1970 Ford Mustang MACH 1 |
I purchased this Numbers Matching 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 unrestored in 2004. The car has had a complete restoration completed in 2010 and has been driven less than a 1000 miles since. It has been garage kept in a climate controlled environment while being started and driven regularly. The Mustang has never seen rain since the restoration. Nearly $50k invested, the pictures speak for themselves. This beautiful Mach 1 Mustang will not disappoint. I have spent a lot of time and money making sure every gremlin has been worked out and it is road ready. Circumstances force me to sell before I ever intended and it is being sold - NO RESERVE MECHANICAL:The numbers matching 351 Cleveland has an Edelbrock intake, Holly carburetor, along with a new crankshaft and a mild cam. The motor is paired with an automatic FMX transmission and the exhaust was replaced with a Magnaflow system with correct exhaust tips for a 1970 Mach 1. New Painless wiring harness installed along with being upgraded with a new Rack & Pinion steering system. The Mustang has front disc brakes and Magnum 500 wheels. COSMETIC:New fenders, Quarters, doors and firewall were all installed along with new floor pans from the front all the way through the trunk. Everything from the firewall forward is completely new including the aprons, shock towers, and radiator supports. Dynamat installed throughout along with New carpet, seats and dash pad. Only 2 minor imperfections are two rock chips. One of the door and one on the top of the fender. Both of which would be best described as 1/8" diameter chips. I AM AVAILABLE TO ANSWER QUESTIONS OR PROVIDE MORE PICTURES AS REQUESTED. HAPPY BIDDING ON THIS NOW RESERVE, NUMBERS MATCHING, FULLY RESTORED, SPARED NO EXPENSE, AS NICE AS YOU'LL FIND UNDER $50,000, 1970 FORD MUSTANG MACH 1 |
