Description of 1930 Ford Model A |
1930 Ford Model A Hot Rod / Rat Rod Military Tribute Located in Raynham, MA. This Model A is a hybrid cross between a hot rod and a rat rod. Couldn't have been done any more tastefully. 6" chop from stock. Most of this truck is customized. However, it will be delivered with a clear Maine 1930 Model A title. The title serial number matches the tag on the frame. It was my plan from the start to make this truck a keeper. Unfortunately, I am 6'1" and it's just a bit too uncomfortable for me. My 12 year old is heartbroken. Of all the vehicles I've had over the years, this is his favorite and the one that has given him the 'bug.' Otherwise, this would be in my collection for years to come. It's by far the nicest looking custom Model A pickup I've seen. When it's parked in my driveway, people actually pull over and take pictures with it - every day. I've uploaded two videos to YouTube: 1930 Model A Pickup Part 1 - YouTube Video will open in a new window [isdntekvideo]1930 Model A Pickup Part 2 - YouTube Video will open in a new window [isdntekvideo]Here are the specs:
The little customized touches on this truck are so cool and tastefully done. The door handles are practice hand grenades. The front turn signals are flashing machine guns. The rear taillights are made to look like bazookas. The third brake light/rear hazard flasher is a skull with red led eyeballs that illuminate. The truck is an open canvas for you to add your own personal touches. Get in and drive. Just don't be too tall! Offering at NO RESERVE. It will sell. A $500 deposit is due at the end of the auction. I am open to offers to end the auction early for the right offer. Will also end the auction if sold locally. I am open to trades for a rat rod with a bit more legroom (or other classic non-motorcycle vehicles). If you are interested in trading, please contact me with your thoughts. Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional pictures. You can call or text me at 781-706-5500. Calls during the day will be returned in theevening but I can typically text back during the day. Truck can stay after payment while awaiting a carrier and I will assist with shipping any way I can. Payment only by cashiers check, bank wire or cash. Thanks for looking! |
