1989 Ford Mustang 5.0 SSP Notch back with ps,pdb and cold A, i purchased from the second owner who purchased from the state of Florida police auction in 1993 It was factory black and cream color, he painted it red and put the flairs on it. And then installed the supercharger and nitros tank but never sprayed it, he was to intimidated by the power it made just with the supercharger he is is 69 years old now. It also has a $1500 stereo system and it sounds great, The body is in great shape it has 2 spots of rust, one near the passenger door hinge, the rear quarters where he installed the flairs in that area you would need to do body work or or install new quarters were he bolted them on and used some type of glue in any case it needs to be fixed if you take them off .It has the original engine, but not the transmission this car use to have a 5 speed Manuel trans, it was changed to a metric AOD overdrive transmission that shifts really good, it also has a 355 gear with a new posi unit, all said he invested around $12000 in this car it has been sitting for almost 7 years so It would need new tires and check the brakes and electrical system before i would drive it to be safe. it does run and drive good I also have brand new head lights and turn signal lenses that go with the car.
