Description of 1931 Ford A Street Rod -- |
Real Henry Ford model A steel body and frame. Cool old school hot rod. The entire underside frame motor and trans are color matched to the body. Frame has been boxed and smoothed. Up front is a drop axle with tubular trailing arms and chrome shocks. Also has nostalgic 1948 Buick big finned brakes. In back it has adjustable 4 link with coil over shocks. Motor is a 350 with aluminum intake new Edelbrock 600 carb Mallory ignition and lake headers with baffles. Turbo 350 trans and a Ford 9 inch rear. The motor is dressed up with polished parts. Even underneath has finned aluminium oil pan flywheel cover and trans pan. Has a 32 grill shell recessed firewall gas filler is removed holes cut in the visor recessed licence plate teardrop taillights and of course a chopped top. Has smoorh glossy paint. A set of nostalgic Radir aluminum wheels with radial whitewall tires really set it off. Great interior. Seat and door panels upholstered to match. Has new gauges and a nostalgic moon eyes tachometer. I love the leather wrapped banjo steering wheel brass knuckle shift handle and checkered roof. Also has a roll bar and leather pouch. So those are the specs but what it really comes down to is this car is cool. It stands apart from the others and will be fun to own!
