A great survivor, all stock with the exception of radio, rhino-lined bed. Never wrecked, good condition overall. Gets many thumbs-up and conversations going, looks excellent at 15 feet, has flaws up close, including a few small dents, including notable one that mysteriously appeared on thedriver-side rear pillar of cab, looks like it could be popped out pretty easily but will leave that and other touch-ups to new owner! Bought this truck from a family in Idaho in 2001, they added the rhino lining and the stereo, and the "beer buoy" cup holders, which come in handy over bumpy ground. They had purchased it from their old neighbor who had bought it new and who in his later years spent most his time polishing the truck. When I got it the hood paint was faded, so was the paint directly under the gas cap. I took it to Oregon and kept it outside where it has acquired some surface rust, most noticeable in the body seams, small blemishes and scratches from use, and a single rusted through spot in the radiator mount near the battery. It has two gas tanks but I stopped using the interior one and it now has sediment from lack of use. Recent work includes new brakes, new batteries, rewired electrical, exhaust manifold machined. It needs new tires as they are old and the sidewalls are cracking but I've held off recently thinking whoever buys it might want something specific. Horn, radio and gas gauge have not worked for a long time, but presumably simple fixes. Starts up with some choke and a few cranks. Runs smooth and is very capable, has never let me down - within the past year have taken it out on steep Forest Service roads in the mountains and towed a three axle flatbed trailer - it is a real truck... It does not have power steering so you get a nice bicep pump on if you have to parallel park it, it growls while cruising and accelerates well, rhino lined bed is surprisingly comfortable for sleeping. The interior is in good shape with only a couple of tears in the seat and a small crack or two in the dash and instrument panel. Hate to see it go but I am not using it as much as I did and it needs to find someone to use it or restore it. Please contact with specific questions. If you are near Portland am happy to show it as I'm also listing it locally.
