| Restoration was started in 1988 and the truck has been kept in a garage ever since. The tires are in good condition. The truck was stripped down to the frame and rebuilt and repainted. The original R-series flat head V8 was rebuilt. Originally it had a 3 speed non synchromesh transmission. found a 5 speed synchromsesh from another truck with an R-series engine. The brake have been rebuilt and the master cylinder replaced. The electrical system has been converted to a 12 volt system. The interior has bee partially redone. the seat upholstery has not been finished The truck sale will include the original parts which include: the 6 volt generator and voltage regulator. three speed transmissions. a clutch bell housing. the original shop manual. and other miscellaneous parts. |
