This car was never in service as a police cruiser, it was bought new by a NASA employee. Odometer shows 49k but i have no supporting documents.It is a survivor with mostly all original paint. It presents itself very well but it is a 46 year old car. Had a left rear quarter panel replaced back in the seventies. Has very minimal rust in the dog legs and a couple of the door bottoms. Interior is near perfect, has a very small crack in the padded dash. Numbers matching original engine but a previous owner built the engine and installed a 460 crankshaft. The 71 Interceptor came with the 429 Cobra Jet engine as the Interceptor version didn't arrive until the next year. Has the correct Quadrajet carb and DOOE R heads and runs excellent. Original crankshaft will be included with the car. Has also had the a/c compressor changed to an aluminum version and it works good as does everything else except the am radio. Correct police wheels but has one that needs to be straightened and has newer BFG'S. Car is extremely strong and drives good. Extremely rare car that can be driven and enjoyed as it is. Inspections encouraged. Sells to US only, no shipping, must be picked up.
