Thank you for looking at our vehicle. You will need a Paypal account to bid. If you don't have one, please call with your offer. Please do not message us through eBay, because we may not get to your message. If you have any questions about the vehicle, call Stan at 216-598-7011. This car is being sold no reserve. If you win the vehicle, please send a $500 deposit to our Paypal account within 24 hours. Balance to be paid by check, cash or wire transfer. Please call us directly so we can work out the paperwork and delivery after deposit has been made. We charge $115 for paperwork and title transfer, and 45 day tags are available. We sell all cars as-is, which means the buyer is responsible for any and all repairs, according to the Ohio Buyer's Guide. Remember: it's the buyer's responsibility to inspect the car before bidding. When you view the pictures of the vehicle, make sure you look at them on a large screen to ensure that you can see all attributes of the car. We are offering for sale a super clean, classic 1960 Thunderbird Convertible. This car was babied and pampered by the previous owner for close to 20 years. He bought it exactly the way you see it. The body was actually nicer than new. The paint job is phenomenal. The car was painted probably 20 years ago. I can't find a crack, chip or scratch on it. The body of the car must be seen in person to appreciate how nice it really is. If you wanted to repaint this car with today's prices and the quality of work this Thunderbird is showing, it would probably cost you in excess of $15,000 (unless you could do it yourself). I'm not sure if the chrome bumpers are original or not, but boy do they look good! All the trim that's on the body is in good condition. The convertible top is in excellent condition and all four tires are ready to go on a trip. The interior of the car is also a big plus. The driver's seat shows a little stretching of wear, being that it was probably redone close to 20 years ago, and the gentleman that bought the car drove it around 38,000 miles since the year 2000. All the glass is in good condition. The dash pad is in good shape and all options on this vehicle work. The convertible top goes up and down just like it did in 1960 when the car was new. And I'm sure that everyone saw the pictures of the underneath of the vehicle. The way you see it is the way I bought it and it is exactly the way the person I bought it from purchased the vehicle. This is just an amazing car because it's not a car that was totally ripped down to a frame and put back together. It's an original survivor. We also have all maintenance records for this vehicle starting back in 2000. We hope you spend the time looking at the Flickr slideshow below, since you will defintely get to know the car a lot better. I'd rather not go on and on about the car, since it speaks for itself. Now, I'd like to give you a list of some of the options along with some of the information I decoded from the VIN number. Of course, the vehicle is a 1960 Thunderbird Convertible with power top, power steering and possibly power brakes. The AM radio in the car w/ cassette works. In one of the boxes in the back of the car, there's the original radio which works also. In the other box in the back of the car there is a new starter, which was never used. The starter that's currently on the car works perfectly. We also have repair and service books along with nearly 20 years of maintenance records. Here's what the VIN number means decoded: The zero on the vin means "1960"."Y" means Built in a Michigan plant."73" means convertible. The second "Y" means V8 352 0HV 4 BARREL 300 HP"76A" means convertible"85" means Red"4" means 3 speed transmissionand finally, "3" means 3,101 rear axle If you're looking for a super special classic car that's going up in value, gets a lot of looks and is loved at car shows, take your whole family with you top down and have a fun drive.
