1994 FORD F350 XL 7.3 IDI Dana 60 Monobeam 4x4 NO RESERVE!
You are bidding on a hard to find 7.3 IDI (Indirect Injection) powered diesel truck with the famous and indestructible DANA 60 Monobeam front drive axle in fully functional condition.
The 7.3 diesel engine, E4OD automatic transmission and 1 ton four wheel drive powertrain are in outstanding condition, due to their robust construction. I have owned a number of the early 6.9 and 7.3 IDI engines and this one is by far the strongest one that I've seen, it runs like a bear!
The truck's chassis is worth the asking price as-is. The cab and bed have some rust issues, likely due to the prior owner's use as a landscape service truck. I do not want to misrepresent this; the rockers and cab corners are in need of replacement, and there are rust concerns in the front of the bed. However, you can drive this one home, and you will not be disappointed with the beast of an engine, smooth and crisp shifting automatic E4OD automatic transmission and fully functional 4x4 driveline with the DANA 60 series front axle and Borg Warner manual shift13-56 transfer case with PTO provision.
The chassis is very solid with nothing but surface rust. I had entertained the thought of replacing the cab and bed with an easily sourced F150 gasoline powered truck cab, etc. This would not be difficult and then you'd really have something to reckon with!
The truck has been extremely well maintained; there are a number of new parts installed:STARTERBRAKE DISCSBRAKE CALIPERSBRAKE PADSBRAKE HOSESSTERING GEARBOXFRONT DRAG LINKTIE ROD ENDSPERFORMANCE AUTOMOTIVE RADIATOR
I am very impressed with the performance and function of this truck, as will you be. It starts, runs and drives like it did when it was new; clearly evident in the outstanding maintenance that has been kept up with. There is no concerns with loose steering or uneven braking, and the engine and transmission are ready for you.
Additionally I recently replaced the worn shift tube and bushings as well as retrofitting it with some rust free body parts; The LH door, both fenders, & bumper were replaced with nice rust free parts. I also installed a new FORD header panel and headlights. It also has a nice set of later 1996 Alcoa OEM aluminum wheels.

The truck has functioning air conditioning as well as new rear tires. It is the one that you want, if you are looking for an OBS truck that is as tough as it can be!
I have been upgrading this truck in my spare time, just today I replaced the missing windshield reveal mouldings. All glass is in good condition also.
