This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION I rebuilt the engine for this car over 20 years ago. The owner passed and I obtained the car. His son said that the car has less than 50 miles on it, mostly in parades in the small town where they lived. The body is oak with vinyl seat cushions and top. It has been converted to 12v, has a new battery and a master disconnect switch. It is equipped with an alternator, distributor and accessory waterpump. The wiring is still in place if you want to switch back to timer and coils. It is fitted with large drum "Rocky Mountain" style brakes on the original 1924 style rear end. It starts well, has a good free neutral and drives and stops as it should. The gas tank shows no signs of rust. I can find nothing mechanical that needs to be done to the car.The sheet metal is all straight and is in zinc chromate primer. There is minor surface rust that would easily sand out before top coating. I see no signs of filler or rust repairs. This would make a great tourer, parade car or one to just drive the grandkids around. There is no title; Alabama did not issue titles until 1976. The car will be sold as is - where is with a bill of sale only. You can pick the car up 30 miles east of Birmingham, AL. or I can assist with shipping. I might even be able to deliver the car for reasonable money. I can be reached anytime at (205) 936-7825.Ask questions, come and view and drive the car. I will not require a deposit, but will expect to be paid cash or certified check at the end of the auction.
