Description of 1991 Ford Escort

This vehicle has had only two owners. First owner was eldrely woman, second owner was her adult son.
The windshield is cracked.
The interior is clean (as shown in the photos)
The tires still have good tread
This is a practical around town car - it runs well. It always starts up, but the battery has corrosion around it. After I drove it on the highway for about 30 minutes, there was a smell when I parked it back home. There wasn't any smoke or weird sounds. The alignment seems fine, there wasn't any shaking or pulling.
There are some spare tires in the trunk
The odometer says 55556 (it doesn't have room for more numbers) so I'm not sure what the exact mileage is, but likely it is 155,556
The heat and air conditioning work great
