Here's your chance to own a very rare 1969 Ford Galaxie XL Convertible. There's not many of these left, especially in this condition. While it does have some minor cosmetic flaws, the overall condition of the car is excellent. This car is originally from California, and stayed there until the 90's when it was brought to Illinois. Since in Illinois, it has been garage kept. Hence, there is virtually NO rust on the vehicle, with the exception of a small spot near the gas cap. This car was top of the line in its time, equipped with air conditioning, bucket seats, and the 390/265 hp engine. The interior and exterior have some minor flaws (small peel and scratch spots), but the seats are like new, the wheels are brand new, and the tires are good. The convertible top goes up and down with the push of a button, as do the ever-cool hideaway headlights. The car was originally yellow, re-painted to this red metallic color (done the right way, not a trace of yellow anywhere). It drives great...starts right up and rides smooth & straight. This car is a lot of fun, put the top down and let the good times roll!
