2S Motorcars, LLC | eBay Template
This Running and Driving 1966 Mustang Convertible was purchased in October of 2017 from the original owner who purchased the car new on 7/25/1966 from McMahon Ford of St. Louis, MO. The car had never left the St. Louis area. The car is documented with 2 original invoices, original owner's manual, original order receipt, various registration information and even a hand-written record of each time the car was filled with gas from new all the up through 1982. The original Door data plate decodes as follows: Year:61966 Miscellaneous Vehicle Data Body:76AConvertible, Standard Interior The car has received one repaint over it's lifetime. It currently has what appears to be it's original vinyl interior in good condition. The VIN stamping is clearly visible in left hand fender apron. The car had previous rust repair to it's left lower quarter/trunk drop-off and left floor pan. The car will need minor rust pair to the left lower quarter, wheel lip and convertible reinforcement pan and left front fender. All trouble areas are shown in pictures. There are small signs of surface rust showing in the typical areas but nothing requiring major replacement, all areas shown in pictures. The car runs and drives out well, the 200 CI, 6 cylinder and automatic transmission are original to the vehicle and run reliably and shifts out well. The rear end is believed to be original to the car. They will need some minor servicing to address typical leaks, etc. This is a car that can be driven as-is or given a quick cosmetic restoration. The car does need a new exhaust system installed which will be provided with sale. Payment: A deposit of $1000 (non-refundable) must be paid within 48 hours of winning bid. The remaining balance must be paid within 3 business days.
