A relatively light body powered by a strong V-8 engine made this car faster than most cars on the road. The 1934 Ford is a favorite among car collectors and people who enjoy restoring older cars. It was also in this era that Ford began producing different models during a single year--car buyers had 10 different types of 1934 Fords from which to choose which was a new concept at the time. The 1934 Ford used one chassis. engine and drive train for all its cars. Still. it had 10 models from which to choose and quiet a few options. Differences between the vehicles related more to style. Ford offered a coupe with three or five windows. with the five-window version having extra space behind the front seat. Sedans included the Tudor and Fordor. which were the most common. Vehicle has been garage kept and well maintained-Smoke-Free interior since built and owned. I have owned this sedan since the mid 80’s and have driven it many miles and enjoyed many a trip and event with Yankrz. (Yankee Rose is the name of beautiful yellow rose). Two years ago I decided to redo my first street rod project to current technology and standards. This included the following: · Fresh engine/transmission/cooling system. · Repaint with two tone paint scheme. · Upgrade the front suspension. tires and wheels. · Upgrade rear disc brakes and parking brake. · Upgrade exhaust system to Stainless Steel. · New headlights. taillights and related items. · New dash look. console and related items. · New sound system. · Fresh new interior. The restoration project includes replacement of engine. transmission. brakes. cooling system. fuel system. new wiring. new paint with body work. new tires/wheels. interior and many more items not listed here. The engine was upgraded to a Chevrolet Performance’s unique Ram Jet 350 which combines the classic look of the original Rochester mechanical injection system with the dependability and optimized performance of contemporary electronic port fuel injection. The engine is a proven 350 Small-Block and topped it with an exclusive port fuel-injection system that emulates the look of Chevy’s factory fuel-injection systems from the 1950s and ’60s. It’s the perfect choice for a resto-mod hot rod from the original Rochester era. Since completion of the project I have driven the Sedan less than 1000 miles. The speedometer was replaced along with all the gauges during the rebuild. The miles shown on the odometer are the miles since the rebuild. The Tudor is enjoyable to drive and turns heads where ever it goes. We did it with a concept of understated elegance and attention to detail to make this a cool driver you can enjoy as much as I have over the years that I had it. Feel free to ask me any questions that you might have about my ownership. the rebuild and the car that I would like to answer for you.
