Tony here from Hollywood Car Company. Looks like it's time to let another one of our movie inventory cars. This one before it gets turned into a 50's style Hot Rod ( really don't want to see that happen ) it's a Beautiful 1936 Ford 5 window coupe. appears to have only 9000 miles since a real nice stock restoration. recently acquired for some movie work by gentleman who. by the look of the registration has owned for at least 40 years. Let's start off with. the car it still has both 1936 California license plates that are included. it's a all steel 36 Ford 2 door ( coupe ) 5 window version. nbsp;repainted original color over very straight. what looks to be original sheet metal. all new safety glass front back and sides. all new stock type tan mohair interior. carpet. seats. headliner. door panels even the rumble seat ( mother in law seat ) has been done in weather resistant material. Dash is in beautiful unrestored condition all factory gauges correct and work. get this even the tube type AM radio works. No FM hip hop stations or IPOD hook up available . Firestone wide white 8:00X16 are mounted on factory large bolt pattern steel wheels accented with factory beauty rings and FORD'S famous V8 logo chrome hub caps. Suspension is " ALL STOCK STYLE " using the correct rebuilt mechanical brakes. shocks and springs on a unmolested stock 36 chassis . engine is fully rebuild Ford Flathead that has the unique "flattie" rumble backed by again factory 3 speed manual transmission. Other Neat Features I really love. the unmolested timeless front end style. classic banjo style steering wheel. last year style floor mounted shifter along with the screw out / tilt open front windshield (early flow through ventilation) and last but not least that rumble seat and all the foot steps mounted on bumper and rear fender. also allowing access to tons of room behind the front seat area.
